This American Alligator got mad with me for some reason while I was taking his picture (maybe it was the flash).
Believe me, when he growled, it scared the living sh*t out of everyone, including me. I'm fairly unflinching, but nothing can really compare you for how loud it was. Put it this way, people from the other side of the zoo heard it. Also, the fact that he was at least 12 feet long made him all the meaner.
